Leadership development for success

When it comes to developing Leadership skills this inevitably requires a mentoring approach. This involves use of the same models and skills of questioning, listening, clarifying and reframing associated with coaching. Developing leadership skills is an important part of succession planning or to help new appointees to senior positions to maximise their impact.

Traditionally mentoring in the workplace has tended to describe a relationship in which a more experienced colleague uses his or her greater knowledge and understanding of the work or workplace to support the development of a more junior or inexperienced member of staff. The key to our approach is combining enhanced self-understanding; influencing and creativity skills; and psychometrics, including 360 feedback.

Our leadership development has proven successful with hundreds of executives from across the business spectrum.

The focus is always on keeping the candidate in control of their own development. Mentoring is generally delivered one-to-one but there are opportunities for groups to benefit from masterclasses in specific elements of leadership.

Organisation sponsors may well have specific development requirements and we will be happy to discuss these at the very start to ensure we build the right programme for the candidate(s).
